CF Booth buys and sells all types of metal scrap arisings from a wide range of customers; from local householders looking to weigh in their metal scrap to multinational corporations with facilities across the world.
Who do we buy from?
The short answer is anyone who produces scrap metal. This includes local trades and businesses, manufacturers, other scrap metal merchants, construction and demolition contractors, blue-chip organisations, government bodies and service providers to name but a few. Take a look at the products we buy below.
What Do You Need?
In accordance with the Scrap Metal Dealers Act 2013 you will need:
A copy of your photo ID and proof of address, which must be dated within three months.
A UK photo driving licence is usually the easiest form of identification, but if you want to see what else you can use check here for an up to date list.
If you are scrapping a motor vehicle, the V5C registration document is required. As an ATF, we can provide you with a certificate of destruction to prove that you’re no longer the registered keeper of the vehicle.
