Booth was established in 1920 by Clarence Frederick Booth
and since that time has continued to be passed down through
the generations of the Booth family.
Ken
Booth Snr acquired the business from his father Clarence and
he is still currently serving an active role within the company
at the age of 86, but the bulk of the workload is managed
by Ken Snr's two sons James & Ken Jnr.
Ken
Booth Jnr's two sons Scott (selling)
& Jason Booth (buying)
oversee the buying and selling of all materials within CF
Booth Ltd who are then in turn overseen by their father Ken
Jnr.

Booth has grown to occupy a large area of land at it's Armer
Street head office and is continuously moving forward in all
areas of metal recycling and manufacturing.
The
company predominantly begun as a scrap yard, importing and
exporting small quantities of a limited number of metals,
but to the current day now import and export all types of
materials worldwide and also manufacture ingots which are
again sold throughout the world, but most recently the company
have begun manufacturing forged parts mainly for use in the
marine industry since the demise of Alfred Ellis Ltd.
